COVID-19 UPDATE (from 29.03.2021)
The clinic is open.
Following the latest government lockdown guidelines (29.03.2021) all medical clinics (including podiatrists) can remain open and all patient groups may be treated.
There have been a few changes to ensure the ongoing safety of both patients and podiatrist:-
Patients are advised to wear a face covering at all times (unless a medical condition prevents this) and to wait in their car to be collected at their appointment time.
If coming by foot, there will be a covered seat outside the clinic door. Please observe social distancing of 2 m where possible. You will only be coming into contact with myself (the sole podiatrist in full PPE). Patients are advised to bring minimal items into the clinic.
Protective screens have been put up in the clinic, between the patient and podiatrist over the clinic couch and at the payment desk.
Covid protective clothing ( PPE) will be worn by the podiatrist. Hand gel and temperature checks will be done at the door before entering the clinic through an opened door. All surfaces touched by the patient will be decontaminated between treatments and the whole clinic will be deep cleaned at the end of the day. The clinic room will be ventilated between patients and the door and window can be left open if requested. I have been vaccinated as a health care practitionner.
If the patient has been in contact with a person suffering with Covid-19 in the last week or have acquired any of the Covid symptoms for example new cough or temperature; please let the podiatrist know straight away prior to the appointment.
Contactless payments of up to £45 can now be made and payments of over £45 can be made in clinic, using protective payment machine covers. Otherwise payments by cheque, cash or BACS are accepted.
Thank you for your understanding regarding this. Keep well and keep safe
